Weber Silver Bell Ceramic Audio

Prior to the silver bell i used a celestion g12h30 warehouse reaper alnico blue and weber ceramic blue dog.
Weber silver bell ceramic audio. Bold big low end more headroom than the alnico version. Or a pair of each in a 4 12. Also available with weber s hemp cone which is a smoother darker tone with less attack great for taming treble. 12 40oz ceramic magnet 1 3 4 voice coil ribbed cone.
Reminiscent of the classic marshall stack tone. Here s a quick demonstration comparing these two speakers through a marshall 1987. 4 75 no cover 5 375 with cover cutout size. It seems to have scooped mids to my ear compared to the other speakers.
I believe the weber 1225 is designed to imitate the celestion greenback cuz it mentions the model number g12m 25. I ve got a weber silver bell arriving in a day or two. A silver bell doesn t sound much like a g12m h style speaker imo. Great low end from the silver bell while retaining clarity and definition from the blue dog.
On the weber site it says the silver bell is designed to imitate the classic marshall stack tone. Weber silver bell ceramic 50w speaker i bought the speaker a few months ago in order to have a cool sounding closed back 1x12 cabinet but i had just used my convertible cab as an open back until. Second is the celestion alnico gold. The m sounds more.
Try pairing this with a blue dog in a 2 12 combination. Classic marshall tone with ceramic punch. As with all weber speakers the higher the power rating the warmer and smoother the speaker. All of these are great speakers.
But something was missing. But i ve heard that the silver bell is also designed to imitate a silver greenback.
